Former Trump Insider Reveals the Trump’s Marriage Was a Business Arrangement From the Start
There have been claims on occasion that the marriage of Donald and Melania Trump is little more than a sham, and now one former senior adviser to Melania is claiming in a recent social media thread that the former first lady’s marriage to Trump is just that — a facade.
She shared a clip advertising the 2007 season of The Apprentice. The clip features Melania walking down the steps while carrying newborn Barron. Her hair fluffs out behind a pink headband, according to The Independent.
“Many may think ‘DADDY’S HOME’ is a Father’s Day video. Nope!” noted Wolkoff, author of the tell-all book Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.
“Millions of Americans watched The Apprentice,” she explained. “Donald was a household name. He needed a woman who looked & played the part & let him be the star. Marrying Melania & making her a Vogue Cover model — legitimized them both.”
Wolkoff wasn’t done.
“What catapulted Donald J. Trump ‘businessman’ and his ‘supermodel’ wife to the White House was a MIRAGE created by Survivor producer Mark Burnett and NBC boss Jeff Zucker.”

A day after the clip resurfaced, Politico ran a story that Melania planned to host a July fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans at Trump Tower in New York. She initially held a fundraiser for the organization in April. Melania has largely been absent on the campaign trail and critics continually wonder “Where’s Melania?” Maybe these fundraisers are her way of trying to support her husband, I don’t know.
She was, understandably absent while Donald Trump’s hush-money criminal trial in New York was underway, as the lurid details of Trump’s alleged affairs with a former Playboy model and adult film actress while his marriage to Melania was still relatively new. But behind closed doors, Melania has purportedly called the trial “a disgrace.”
I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if this marriage is a sham. Melania is rarely ever seen with her husband, and she’s obviously a very private person. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to be around him much either.
Melania is quite obviously a grifter but I can’t find it in my heart to blame her for that.
