Melania and Barron Seen for the First Time Since Donald’s Multiple Convictions and Melania Doesn’t Look Happy

For the first time since her husband was convicted in the now-infamous hush money trial, Melania Trump stepped out of Trump Tower with piles of luggage, accompanied by her son Barron Tuesday. The former first lady did the typical things she generally does when she wants to seem invisible in public, keeping her head down as she strolled out of the Midtown skyscraper she and young Barron ducked into a bulletproof SUV.

Of course with stacks of luggage, this makes me wonder what she’s up to. At least seven Louis Vuitton bags and numerous garment totes emblazoned with Barron’s initials were loaded into the black SUV. Once everyone was loaded into the SUV they headed off to a “safe haven” estate at Bedminster, in New Jersey, The New York Post reports.

This outing is the first time Melania has been seen in public for nearly two weeks. The 54-year-old former first lady is believed to have been reclusively sticking to her lavish penthouse since May 23.

You can hardly blame her. This trial has to be a tough go for her. She did show up for her husband’s final day in court, where he was convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal evidence of hush money paid to Stormy Daniels, to maintain her silence as the 2016 election loomed.

Trump himself said last weekend that Melania and Barron have been hit the hardest in the days following the guilty verdict in the case that was brought by Manhattan DA  Alvin Bragg.

“I think in many ways it’s tougher on them than it is on me,” said Trump, 77, who charged that the trial was a scheme by “bad people” to “create havoc.”

Now here’s the thing about Donald Trump. He’s a huge lummox who probably didn’t care during the time when he was making his moves on Stormy Daniels and how this would affect his wife. But now, he’s acknowledging the strife this has caused.

The couple’s only child, Barron graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, on May 17, a ceremony dear old Dad was permitted to attend by Judge Merchan, who presided over the trial. Trump had fawning words for his son.

“He’s tall, good-looking, he’s a very good student,” the elder Trump told “Fox & Friends Weekend”. “He’s applied to colleges and gets into everywhere he goes, you know? He’s very sought after from the standpoint. He’s a very smart guy.”

Let’s hope young Barron turns away from his father’s lies and outright dishonesty to become a young man of principles. Sadly, some of his social media points out he may turn out to be just like dear old dad, and that’s really sad.

As for Melania, I suppose she’ll continue to find ways to grift off of the family name. She’s probably worrying since her husband owes so much money to E. Jean Carroll and a host of other people. She could be afraid she won’t be able to stay afloat.

Oh well.
