Melania Trump’s brutal eight-word response to husband Donald after he ‘struggled to exit stage’
Melania Trump delivered a candid eight-word critique after Donald had difficulties leaving the stage.
The former First Lady’s straightforward feedback came to light when Donald Trump recounted a conversation with her during a rally attended by an estimated 80,000 supporters this evening.
Addressing a massive assembly of MAGA enthusiasts in Wildwood, New Jersey, Trump narrated an incident following his criticism of Joe Biden for being unable to “to put two sentences together.”
He shared details of a phone call with Melania following a notable event, where he lambasted media outlets for misinterpreting his mimicry of the Democrat President after he took his time exiting the stage.
Trump told the crowd: “I called my wife [Melania Trump], the great first lady…I called our first lady – I said ‘first lady how great a speech was that? ‘”.
Disclosing Melania’s reply, Trump continued: “She said ‘You were OK’. I said ‘What’s wrong? ‘. She said ‘Well, you couldn’t find your way off stage.'”
The Republican also mentioned that he needed to be extra cautious to avoid similar media coverage tonight. Lisa Fagan, the spokesperson for Wildwood, estimated that the turnout at the Jersey Shore ranged from 80,000 to 100,000 people.
Representative Jeff Van Drew hailed the beachfront event as the largest political gathering in the state’s history. It was intended to demonstrate a strong show of support at a pivotal time for Trump, who is contending with numerous felony charges across four different criminal cases, with the election looming in less than six months.
Trump has denied all accusations, framing it as a politically-charged “witch hunt” designed to keeping him from returning to the political arena.
Before he was set to appear on stage, thousands of his ardent followers donned their “Never Surrender” T-shirts and clad their heads with red MAGA caps, congregating between the boardwalk and funfair rides.
